Hybrid Theater

Wedow Theater is a unique hybrid theater experience featuring the ultimate combination of state-of-the-art technology with a triple screen setup. At the center of Wedow Theater you can immerse yourself in stunning visuals on the massive LG G4 83-inch TV, boasting unparalleled clarity and vibrant colors. Enhanced further by the flawless audio delivery of KEF R Meta series speakers, every sound comes to life in a 7.2.4 configuration, enveloping you in a world of cinematic bliss. Often the Philips Hue light sync is on to make the experience feel even bigger by lighting up the entire wall by matching the color of the TV. Between the AVR and the HDMI matrix we are able to put any source on any TV, including the TV in the upstairs living room!

Seating Options

We take inspiration from traditional living/family rooms, home theaters, and game rooms. We want to be able to host friends for casual multi-screen days or a serious single screen movie night. Having the ability to lay on the couch is always a nice option that is often missing from traditional home theaters, which is why we have a combination of seating types. This hybrid space is easy for friends to get comfortable in for hours.

The side TVs angle in so viewing angles are good regardless of what seat you pick. We can comfortably seat 11 people and when needed can squeeze 15 by adding some comfy barstools. The back row is on a 14 1/2" riser platform so seeing over the first row is no problem even when fully reclined.

No Projector?

One of the most common questions we are asked is why no projector? Well, simply put, an OLED TV is better for the environment we are working with. Projectors require darker spaces and in many cases we want to spend time watching TV or a movie with the lights on or the windows open. We will spend countless hours in our space and being constantly in the dark wouldn’t allow us as much flexibility. Often times we utilize all 3 TVs simultaneously which can be more fun than simply having a bigger screen.

Future plans do include a projector screen that will drop down in front of the TVs for an even greater hybrid experience.
